In case you missed it…. The Shoplowvision.com Professional Products and Daily Living Products catalogs have arrived! What happens when you combine one of the industry’s most successful low vision practitioners with Lighthouse Professional Products? Lowvision.com and its e-commerce division Shoplowvison.com! LowVision.com debuted in January 2007 with the goal of providing much needed low vision rehabilitation information. It has a wealth of resources for both eye care professionals and consumers. Shortly thereafter ShopLowVision.com was born. Shoplowvision.com has practical product solutions with more than 8,000 items packed neatly into a state of the art web store.

Be on the lookout for Shoplowvision.com’s Products for Eye Care Professionals. While it may seem like the new kid on the block, the product assortment can be traced back to 1985. In 1985, Bill Mattingly, MA, ABOM, HFOAA created Mattingly International. Mattingly International distributed low vision rehabilitation products directly to eye care professionals. The Mattingly International Catalog quickly became an indispensable tool industry wide. It was a source where eye care professionals could find a wide assortment of low vision products in one place. Mattingly International was so successful it was purchased by the New York Lighthouse in 1999. Known as Lighthouse Professional Products the commitment to excellence continued and the company enjoyed continued growth. In 2005, Optelec US, Inc. purchased the Professional Products Division and the catalog from the New York Lighthouse. In January 2007, LowVision.com took ownership of the catalog, enhanced the assortment and launched Products for Eye Care Professionals under the Lowvision.com brand.

Most companies would have stopped there, but the vision wasn’t complete. Shoplowvison.com is proud to announce its Daily Living Products catalog! Hot of the press mid July it takes product assortment and value pricing to a new level. When combined with the wide array of value propositions for professionals it will quickly become the industry standard and most used catalog of its kind. Though our catalog has gone through several changes over the past few years, it is sure to remain a valuable practice tool and is truly the one stop shop for the eye care professional.
