National Resources for Low Vision Rehabilitation Services
Vision Rehabilitation is a team effort involving the ophthalmologist, optometrist, vision rehabilitation specialist, low vision assistant and optician. Daily living activities taught by Certified Rehabilitation Teachers (RTs), Rehabilitation Teaching Assistants (RTAs), Vision Rehabilitation Assistants (VRAs), Orientation and Mobility (O & M) instructors, and support groups can help in the adaption to low vision loss.
